About the Owner

Alli has been an animal lover her entire life, showing both dogs and various species of livestock. Dogs won a place in Alli’s heart at a young age, with her first dog, Sunny a golden retriever, soon after Alli rescued her first German short-haired pointer Izzy. During the training process Sunny was an easy to train dog, and Izzy took much more patience due to the fact that she had been abused. Within a year Alli transformed Izzy from a dog afraid of her own shadow to a dog who was loyal, obedient, and loved everyone by using positive reinforcement training. Since then Alli has owned, rescued, and trained many dogs. She currently owns a rescued Basenji mix and a German short-haired pointer who is shown in the AKC show ring as well as being trained to become a certified physical therapy dog.
